About Chris Tinsley
Owner | Lead Inspector
Chris is a U.S.M.C veteran and InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector (CPI). He has built his reputation on integrity and clarity. Chris is also a licensed General Contractor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. For nearly a decade, Chris managed a wide scale of projects from new construction homes and remodels to overseeing major structural repairs. He has completed over 1000 inspections and enjoys inspecting crawlspaces, where critical structural, moisture, and air quality issues are often hidden. This allows him to combine his technical expertise with client education, helping buyers understand a property’s condition and move forward with confidence. Clients describe Chris as a knowledgeable, honest, and reliable inspector. He is a PADI-certified scuba diver who enjoys traveling and diving around the world. Chris is fluent in Spanish. Libra brings a strong blend of real estate expertise and operational leadership to Guardian Inspections. She has 9 years of experience serving buyers and sellers across the Triangle and previously spent two decades in healthcare, where she focused on improving team efficiency
and client care. At Guardian, Libra oversees the administrative side of Guardian Inspections including but not limited to scheduling, client communication, and reporting coordination, ensuring a smooth, stress-free inspection experience from start to finish. As a former real estate instructor, she brings an educator’s perspective to every interaction, helping agents and clients feel informed and supported. Known for being warm, helpful, and personable, Libra takes pride in delivering peace of mind throughout the inspection process. Outside of work, she enjoys home improvement projects and making fruit preserves and butters — and as a fun fact, Libra
owns five businesses and holds a registered brand trademark.

Inspector
Paul is an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) with 28 years of construction
experience, bringing deep building knowledge to every home inspection he performs. In addition to his inspector credentials, he is licensed in health and life insurance, giving him a unique perspective on risk awareness and long-term protection for homeowners. Paul joined the
inspection field to complement his construction background and help buyers better understand the homes they are investing in. He specializes in evaluating home exteriors, roofing, siding, drainage, and structural components, helping clients spot concerns early and plan for future maintenance costs. Clients describe Paul as a friendly, knowledgeable, and charismatic inspector. Paul enjoys playing racquetball, pickleball, and tennis. He looks forward to snorkeling when he goes on family cruise vacations. A fun fact about Paul, he is three states away from visiting every state in the United States.

Matt is an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) with over five years of experience in home inspections and construction, along with more than a decade in customer service from the automotive industry. He performs thorough residential home inspections and is especially known for his detailed roof evaluations, often using drone technology to safely document hard-to-see areas. Matt enjoys meeting new clients and helping them understand the condition of their home so they can make confident, informed decisions. His calm, helpful approach and attention to detail make the inspection process smooth and stress-free. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with family, tackling home improvement projects, following sports, and putting his skills to work as a chess and puzzle enthusiast.
